Paul, I really like this approach to Bible Study. I've used it many of the SS classes and the church leadership training classes that I've taught and Bible studies that I have written. I agree that testing one's individual interpretation of a passage against that of the group's will improve everyone's understanding of the text, but I have these questions. Since the text of the Scriptures were not initially composed and broken into chapters and verses, how can the group have get an adequate perception on the context of a text if they are only looking at a small selected part of it? Doesn't a grasp of the context require some input from the teacher/facilitator? I would appreciate your answers to these questions.

I'm in tune with (and a bit scared of trying) how you're doing church planting. Thanks for the kick in the behind. Question: What if people at the Discovery Bible Studies have different Bible translations? Do we or should we recommend a translation? (Could you send a reply to my email address.)
Thanks,
DaveC

Just want to say a HUGE THANK YOU for the low bandwidth CPM Awareness Audio! I am on the island of Mindoro in the Philippines and low bandwidth is all we have here. Can you also put more low bandwidth audio? Also are you able to make available low Bandwidth videos. I have tried to watch UStream Cityteam videos but just not able to watch because of the video freezing for long periods of time. Again thank you so much for this website and everything your doing for Jesus. Have an awesome day in Christ on mission with God!

Hi Paul
Low bandwidth version of the audio would be good if possible!
Just one of your audio files will take 2+ hours to download. It's coming in at 1MB every 80 secs here in BDesh.

Hi Chris! Thanks for stopping by. No, it isn't podcasted on iTunes. It was at one point, but several site revisions later, it isn't any longer.
